Calimintha nepeta glandulosa 'White Cloud'

Nepeta features blue-green leaves that are highly fragrant when crushed or bruised (smells similar to oregano). Expect an abundance of elegant white flowers that bloom in clusters from summer to mid-fall (June - September).

Plant in full sun with well drained soil. Can tolerate some drought once established, but prefers evenly moist soil. Benefits from cutting back after flowering to keep a tidy shape and prevent unwanted self-seeding. Makes a good cut flower. Nepeta is very attractive to bees and other pollinators. 

An excellent choice for those looking for a more formal country garden look. Perfect as a border plant, especially along paths and in herb gardens. Plant with Sedum, Asters and Hardy Geraniums as companions.
