Quercus alba

Commonly called white oak, this large, native, deciduous tree features a rounded, broad-spreading, often irregular crown. Typically grows at a slow rate to a height of 50-80' (often larger in the wild). Dark, lustrous green leaves turn bright red in the fall. One of the most important host plants for wildlife. Comes to you in a 5 gallon container about 3-4' tall, as shown in photo 4.
