Baptisia alba var. macrophylla 

Commonly called White False Indigo. This native species is a 2-3' tall growing perennial thats a prized plant in gardens. It naturally occurs from Pennsylvania to Florida. It features large slower spikes adorned with small round white flowers that bloom in April and May. Leaves are blueish green. Its common names comes from the genus' use during colonial times as a replacement for true indigo in dyes for fabrics.

Flower is very attractive to butterflies and is a solid pollinator for bees.

Plant in sun or shade. Arrives to you in a 1 gallon pot. Grown by Carolina Native Nursery.
