Viola hybrid 'Etain'

A classic viola that blooms longer than average. This low growing evergreen perennial produces large creamy yellow flowers with lavender-purple edges. It's clumps of attractive dark green leaves can spread to make an attractive groundcover. Expect blooms from spring through to early summer (May - September).

Plant in part shade to full shade locations with moisture retentive, well-drained soils. Does not tolerate drought or hot humid summer conditions. 

Use as a groundcover in part shade areas of rock gardens, woodland gardens and border fronts. Mixes well with Narcissus, Tulips, Ajuga and Dicentra in the garden.
