Veronica umbrosa 'Georgia Blue'
Commonly known as Speedwell, this semi-evergreen perennial is a low growing variety that offers small, rich-blue flowers with white eyes. Foliage is shiny green with a hint of bronze at the edges. Expect blooms from early to late spring, but it may rebloom intermittently throughout summer.
Plant in full sun with medium moisture, well-drained soil. A great choice as a groundcover or naturalized area. Once established, this plant can be drought and heat tolerant. Remove spent blooms to encourage new flowers. Deer and rabbit resistant, as well as, attractive to butterflies and hummingbirds.
Best when mass planted, 'Georgia Blue' is a great choice for the edges of beds, in rock gardens and in containers. Also a good choice for underplanting shrubs and spring bulbs. Plant with Carex, Lamium and Muscari as companions.
Arrives to you in a quart-sized container.
