Verbena bonariensis 'Lollipop'

'Lollipop' is a long-blooming perennial that provides tall lollipop-like blooms from mid spring until early fall. 'Lollipop' creates airy producing deep lilac clusters of flowers on stiff, slender stems. 

Great when used in cottage or wild flower gardens, perfect when used as front borders due to it's low height nature. Allow to self sow and these 'Lollipops' will fill a border. Quickly reaches 24 to 36 in. tall and wide. A great pollinator during the summer heat. 

Prefers full sun in well-drained soil. Must cut back spent blossoms to encourage new blooms. Remove top 1/4 of plant periodically to force new buds. Plants will have a sprawling habit which can be trained into a more compact shape through regular pruning.
