Commonly known as Japanese Snowbell, this showy deciduous tree boasts gracefully spreading branches. Masses of bell-shaped white flowers with yellow stamens are fragrant and arrive in late spring to early summer. Leaves turn a golden yellow in fall and the grey bark will exfoliate to show an orange inner bark over time, which adds great winter interest. 

Plant in full sun to part shade with medium moisture, well-drained soil. Prune in winter to retain shape. Great when grown as a specimen plant, in beds and borders and in cottage or woodland gardens.
