Solidago caesia

Most commonly known as Blue stem or Wreath Goldenrod, this native perennial features arching blue-green stem with tiny, bright yellow flowers at the leaf axils. Expect blooms for about a month in late summer to early fall.

Plant in full sun to partial shade with well-drained soils. It's not fussy about the soil it is in and can become drought tolerant once established. Easy to grow and low maintenance, this plant is less aggressive than its taller cousins. Bees, butterflies and hummingbirds are all attracted to this Goldenrod.

A great choice for cottage and butterfly gardens, as well as, prairie and meadow gardens. Plant with Amsonia, Heliopsis, Chrysogonum and Symphyotrichum as companions in the garden.

Native to central and eastern North America.

Arrives to you in a one gallon container.
