Schizachyrium scoparium 'Twilight Zone'

Little Bluestem is a native ornamental grass that features upright green foliage tinged-blue (mostly near the base). Most consider the bronze-orange fall color to be the best attribute of this grass. Insignificant purplish-bronze flowers rose above the foliage in August. 

'Twilight Zone' features smokey blue foliage that almost looks iridescent in certain lighting.   

Plant in full sun with average to dry soil moisture. Tolerates drought and dry soil conditions once established. A low maintenance choice for rock, meadow, cottage, rain and meadow gardens.
