Rhododendron maximum
Also called 'Great Laurel'. One of the most prized native rhododendrons available.
A large, upright, evergreen shrub that's native from Georgia to Canada. Highly concentrated within the Appalachian Mountains. It's a fabulous understory shrub that thrives in part sun and shade. In June, very large, white to pale-pink flower clusters appear on top of large, oval green leaves.
Most mature plants will reach 15' tall and wide, but some can grow much larger, up to 40 feet in their native habitats. Grow in part sun to shade in acidic soil.
Arrives to you in a 1 gallon pot.
