The David Austin rose Molineux is a compact, award-winning English rose celebrated for its rich yellow blooms and exceptional performance. Introduced in 1994 and named after the home stadium of the Wolverhampton Wanderers football club, this variety is known for its reliability, vigor, and repeat flowering. Its blooms begin as rich golden-yellow buds that open into full, cupped flowers with a hint of orange at the center, gradually fading to a soft yellow. The fragrance is a delightful blend of tea rose and myrrh, offering a warm and inviting scent. Molineux forms a bushy, upright shrub about 3 feet tall and wide, making it ideal for smaller gardens, borders, or even container planting. With excellent disease resistance and a long flowering season from late spring to frost, it is both beautiful and easy to grow. This rose has earned the Royal Horticultural Society’s Award of Garden Merit for its outstanding qualities.
