A bold, statement perennial that will create structure and form in your garden.

Rodgersia is a small family of rhizomatous perennials originally native to Asia and Russia. The mauve-cowed flowers are attractive, however the extremely broad-leafed foliage is the main reason most gardeners grow this plant. Leaves can measure up to 12" across and are rich green and tinged with bronze, especially later in the fall. Flowers are fragrant and resemble those of astilbe.

Rodgersia prefers part sun, but can tolerate most light position. Plant in loose well drained soil in spring and enjoy a show of foliage throughout the year. Arrives to you in a gallon sized pot.
