Rhododendrons are a large family of evergreen, flowering, shade-loving shrubs that are prized for their shade tolerance and prolific flowers that appear in spring.

'Chionoides' features an abundance of large, white flower clusters that appear in late April or early May. Flower clusters are large, measuring 10-12" across. It will thrive in fully shaded areas, but can tolerate areas of dappled or partial sun.

Rhododendrons can live for a very long time- up to 100 years, making them a true investment in your garden. Ensure soil is amended to be acidic and well draining. Once planted, rhododendrons do not love to be moved, so make sure you pick a permanent location for it.
