Primula vulgaris

Commonly known as Primrose. Double flowers are the palest pink. Pleasing bouquets of color are nestled throughout the foliage. Primula are delightful in the woodland or shade garden. Flowers begin as tight little buds in the center of wavy cabbage green leaves.

Prefers moist, compost-rich soil. Primula will tolerate morning sun with afternoon shade. Can be divided every 2 to 3 years right after bloom or in early fall. Be sure to replant so that the crown is just above soil surface. Cut back by half after blooming to encourage reblooming in fall. Mature plants reach 12" wide and 7" tall.

Arrives to you in a 1 gallon pot.
