polemonium x

Commonly called 'Jacob's Ladder.' Polemonium is a genus of about 25 species of herbaceous perennials from Europe, Asia, North and Central America. They are grown for their showy flowers. Genus name comes from the Greek name polemonion originally applied to a medicinal plant associated with Polemon of Cappadocia.

'Bressingham Purple' is a compact version of Polemonium that features purplish tinted leaves, and bright cobalt blue, upright flowers that appear in April and bloom through May.  Flowers are fragrant. Overall plant will grow to about 15" tall. Cut back after flowering. Great, colorful option for shade and woodland gardens.

Arrives to you in a gallon-sized pot.
