Platycodon grandiflorus 'Fuji Pink'

Commonly called balloon flower this perennial form a mound of green foliage, bearing inflated buds that open into star-shaped soft pink blossoms. Because they come up very late in the spring, consider planting tulips or daffodils beside the clump to mark the location.  Its narrow leaves remain dark green in color throughout the season.

This is a relatively low maintenance plant, and is best cleaned up in early spring before it resumes active growth for the season. Perfect to plant in the front of borders because of its small stature, along paths as edging or in containers. When grown in masses or used as a bedding plant, individual plants should be spaced approximately 15 inches apart. It grows at a medium rate

Comes to you in a one gallon pot.
