Penstemon smallii

This native perennial commonly called Small's Beardtongue, creates light purple to pink tubular flowers on upright plants with coarsely serrated, heart-shaped, bright green leaves. 'Smallii' is a pollinator magnet!

Perfect along borders, in mixed containers, cottage gardens or mass planted as a groundcover.  Blooms for up to four-six weeks in late spring to early summer, much longer than other eastern penstemons. It occurs naturally in places that are in shade for half the day, but also tolerates full sun.

Arrives to you in a quart-sized pot.
