Origanum vulgare ssp. hirtum

Leaves are highly aromatic and provide a spicy flavor to meals. Has a slight bite when eaten raw. Perfect for salsa, chili or pizza! Can be used in place of common oregano however, we would suggest cutting the amount in half since this variety adds an extra punch. 

Forms pleasantly rounded 2’ tall by 3’ wide herb patch - great for edging beds, short garden walls, and in containers.
