Monarda didyma 'Gardenview Scarlet'

Commonly known as Beebalm, this perennial is a traditional favorite as a border plant. ‘Gardenview Scarlet’ produces striking rose red flowers, adding vibrancy to your garden. Expect blooms from mid to late summer (May - September).

Plant in full sun to part shade with moist, well-drained garden soil. This variety is not too fussy about the soil that it is planted in as long as the soil is consistently moist. Bees, butterflies and other pollinators are extremely attracted to Beebalm, while they are also deer and rabbit resistant. Remove spent blooms to encourage new flowers.

Perfect along borders and flower beds for that cottage garden look or in pots and containers to liven up spaces in your yard. A vigorous grower, Monarda is a good choice for prairies and meadow gardens. Plant as a striking specimen plant, or mass planted for a bold look. Works well as a cut flower. Garden companions include Crocosmia, Digitalis, Eryngium, Achillea, Echinacea and Helenium.

Native to North America.

Arrives to you in a gallon-sized pot.
