Monarda 'Balmy™ Rose'

More commonly known as Bee Balm, this Monarda features gorgeous purple blooms perched atop a mound of dark green foliage. Perfect for adding color to your pollinator gardens or pretty enough to take center stage in small beds and containers. Expect blooms from late spring to mid-summer. Balmy Rose Monarda is a smaller variety, reaching only 12" tall and 8" wide, so its a good fit for lower bordering and front-of-bed planting.

Monarda is a deciduous perennial that naturalizes easily and may need divided every few years. Deadhead spent blooms to encourage re-blooming. Cut down to soil level mid-autumn to encourage fuller growth in the spring.
