Rhodea japonica

Japanese Sacred Lily is one of the most prized perennials in Japan.  In the US, its grown in warmer clients as an ornamental perennial. It's been cultivated in Japan for almost 500 years and is widely considered as a sign or good luck.

Its noted for it's evergreen, glossy, tropical looking foliage, that will remain green all year in zones south of 6a. It reaches about 1 foot tall and thrives in full and part shade. Small white flowers will appear in summer and give way to bright red glossy fruit (similar looking to a magnolia seed pod) in fall. Purely ornamental and cannot be eaten. Prefers lightly moist soil with low acidity.

Arrives to you in a 1 gallon pot.
