Virginia Waterleaf is a native perennial commonly found along the eastern coast in wet wooded areas. It features clusters of white to pale purple bell-shaped flowers that bloom in May and June. Large lower leaves are deeply lobed and serrated. Virginia Waterleaf has a long history of medicinal uses, including digestive and immune support. Young leaves can be added to salads.
