Hibiscus x. Commonly called Rose of Sharon.

Rose of Sharon are a large family of flowering deciduous shrubs that have become extremely popular in landscape design.  They usually grow to be about 10-12' tall and about 8 feet wide. They feature large, tropical-looking hibiscus flowers all over that bloom during the latter half of summer months. Flowers can sometimes reach up to 12" across, and range in color from pinks & reds to purple, white and lavender.

Not to be confused with hardy hibiscus, Rose of Sharon grow in tree/shrub form, and do require some pruning and maintenance to maintain the desired tree-like shape. They are vigorous growers and will reach mature size rather quickly.

Plant Rose of Sharon in full sun in well drained soil. They will tolerate most types of soil. Space about 8 feet away from other plants to allow for proper growth.

'Double Red' features large double red blooms that reach about 5" across and are slightly frilly along the edges. Noted for its long blooming season and reliability.

Arrives to you in a 3 gallon pot.
