Heuchera 'Miracle'

Look at those dark leaves! This Heuchera, which is commonly called Coralbells, features changing leaf colors throughout the season. In spring foliage emerges a chartreuse green with red splotches, but mature in summer to a dark red with yellow margins. The underneath side of leaves is silvery in coloring. Tiny light pink flowers on slender stems arise in summer.

This is a shade-tolerant Heuchera that may be grown in rock gardens, borders, open woodland gardens, and rocky slopes. It is best planted in groups or masses.

Heuchera is best grown in medium moisture, well-drained soils in full sun to part shade. Performs well in full sun, but prefers some shade (particularly in the heat of the afternoon). Please note, the best leaf color is developed when grown in a location with afternoon shade. Remove stems of faded flowers to encourage additional bloom.  Expect repeat blooms until frost.
