Heliopsis helianthoides 'Summer Nights'

This bright, golden yellow, single daisy-like bloomer is sure to extend the summer sun in your garden. Dense green clumping stems support these beautiful blooms. Easily grown in average, dry to medium, well-drained soil in full sun. Tolerates drought, but does better if regularly watered. Tolerates a wide range of soils, including poor, dry, and clay. Excellent tall perennial for the middle or back of the flower border. Perfect for cottage gardens or cut flower beds. 

Attracts butterflies, and is a low-maintenance, workhorse. Removing faded flowers regularly will greatly extend the blooming season into early fall. We do suggest dividing Heliopsis (aka False Sunflower) plants in early spring every 4 - 5 years. They are self-seeding beauties!
