Helenium flexuosum

This easy care perennial provides great color with its yellow blooms and brown centers. Blooms are smaller, but they make up for it in quantity. Expect blooms from late summer and into fall. 

Plant in full sun with medium to moist garden soil. Deer resistant, tolerates wet soil and extremely attractive to butterflies! Removing spent blooms after flowering will elongate the blooming time. Plants can be cut back by half after blooming 

Works well in border fronts or in garden beds to give that cottage garden look. A great choice for cottage gardens, naturalized areas, prairies and meadows. They also do well along streams and ponds. Plant with Liatris, Eupatorium, Campanula and Asters as garden companions. 

Native to the Eastern and Central United States.
