Green Hawthorn is a native deciduous tree commonly found on the eastern coast of the US. It's often noted for his abundance of red fruit, or berries, that appear in September and last through the winter. They are technically edible, however its usually best if the berries are reserved for birds over the winter. Tree flowers in spring and is an excellent nectar source for pollinators.
