Gaura lindheimeri 'Bellezi Dark Pink'

The delicate dark rose-pink blooms from late spring and last all summer are only part of what makes this herbaceaous perennial a beauty. 

Best planted in well-draining loamy soil, Gaura is fairly tolerant of soil type, although rich, wet soil will cause the flower stems to droop. Normally well-behaved and tidy, after a couple years you may notice that the stems are getting leggy. Prune in early spring and again in early summer after the first bloom to maintain a more manicured look.
