Gaultheria procumbens 'Redwood'

Commonly called creeping wintergreen. Clusters of pink, bell-shaped, spring flowers produce exceptionally large, red, ornamental berries that hold from fall and into winter. The dense, glossy green foliage turns a splendid merlot color with cool winter temperatures.

This evergreen, low-growing variety makes a perfect showy groundcover in a woodland garden. Excellent for use in rock gardens or as an alpine plant. This creeping wintergreen will multiply naturally and adds great winter interest. Makes a great companion plant for pieris and rhododendron. Native to North America.

Arrives to you in a 6" pot.

*Please note the leaves and berries are toxic to household pets. Please be mindful of where you plant this in your garden if you have pets.
