Amorpha Fruiticosa

Falso Indigo, or Indigo Bush is a native deciduous shrub commonly found in the eastern half of the US in woodland edges and stream beds. It features large, spike-like flowers that are deep purple with orange anthers. The flowers bloom from April to June and are attractive to native butterflies.

Plant False Indigo in full sun with moist soil. Mature shrub will grow 4-12' tall and wide. Light pruning in early spring will help it keep a shrub-like form and not get 'leggy' or out of control. Arrives to you in a 2 gallon pot, currently measuring about 4-5' tall.
