Euphorbia polyanthemus 'Bonfire'

Commonly known as Cushion Spurge, this perennial offers great color, form and is a prolific bloomer. This is a very versatile addition to any garden that is looking for added interest. The foliage is wonderful mix of deep purple, orange and with a touch of chartreuse. As the foliage matures it deepens to a burgundy red and then a rich red in fall. Clusters of yellow flowers come out in mid to late spring to add  a welcomed pop of color to your garden.

Plant in part sun to full sun with well-drained soil. Heat, salt and drought tolerant, as well as being deer and rabbit resistant.

Mostly grown for its foliage, Cushion Spurge works well at the edge of borders, in containers and as specimen plantings. Companions in the garden include Coreopsis, Achillea, Kniphofia and Feverfew.

*Please note that all parts of this plant are highly toxic if ingested. Skin and eye irritant. Wash hands after handling. Please be mindful of where you plant this if you have children or pets.

Arrives to you in a quart-sized pot. **Shown in a gallon-sized pot in photo 4.**
