Epimedium 'Spine Tingler'

Epimedium, also called Barrenwort, are a group of rhizomatous, deciduous perennials that typically love shade, and are commonly planted by gardeners for their beautiful foliage. They do, however, produce wonderful and intricate flowers in late spring that you'll enjoy for a few weeks. Epimedium's foliage is slightly serrated and oval shaped on wiry stems. It functions like a ground cover, yet it's not invasive and typically doesn't crowd or take over. It's a great option for shady spots that need some seasonal color and season-long interest.

'Spine Tingler' features soft yellow flowers that bloom in mid-late spring. Expect mature plants to reach about 8-10" tall and 12-24" in width. Deer and rabbit tolerant, and virtually disease and pest free.
