Delosperma hybrid 'Red Mountain Flame'

Commonly known as Ice Plant, this low growing perennial features daisy-like orange-red flowers, making it a bold landscape feature. Succulent blue-green leaves create a nice groundcover that can quickly spread up to 15-18" across. You can expect blooms from late spring into fall.

Perfect for the sunny areas of your garden, plant Ice Plant in very well drained soil. They prefer average garden soils on the drier side so water sparingly during the growing season. Relatively drought and heat tolerant as well. 

Suitable to plant in rock gardens, as a groundcover or in a mixed container with hardy succulents. Hens & Chicks, Festuca and Creeping Phlox all make excellent garden companions.
