Lagerstoemia 'sioux'

Crape Myrtles are a family of flowering trees and shrubs that are native to Asia, but have been grown in large numbers in north America for hundreds of years.  They are a garden staple, due to their extremely fast growth and huge flower display in the summer months. Crape myrtles can grow up to 2 feet per year!

Sioux is a tree-form crape myrtle and features bright pink flowers atop green foliage. Expect prolific blooms from July to early September. Leaves will turn orange during fall months.  To keep your Sioux in good form, its recommended to prune off random shoots and overall height in spring months. Thrives in full sun and average to dry soil. Loves the heat.
