This compact perennial forms a bushy mound of dark red flowers with golden yellow banded petals as it matures. The emerald green foliage is mildew resistant. A vigorous bloomer, and pollinator lover. Blooms last from summer into fall, and creates wonderful nourishment for our insect friends. Pairs wonderfully with lavender. 

Good addition to spare shrub borders that need late season pick up. Plant around the edges of wetlands or natural garden pools. Perfect for casual cottage or country gardens.
