Hosta 'Fragrant Blue'

The leaves of this beauty are heavily rippled and corrugated which only adds to the interest of this stunning powdery blue-green variety. The mid-summer spikes are covered in fragrant lavender-white blooms that bees and butterflies adore.

Plant these in a moderately shaded area as a garden feature or mass plant as an interesting low border. Frequent watering in well-draining soil will enhance the quilted texture of the leaves.

Prune back to within an inch of the soil at first frost to redirect energy to the roots to support their winter rest. A moderate grower, expect to separate these every few years.
