This native perennial is perfect for the areas of your garden that get less sunlight or are shaded to give that woodland look. Works well towards the front of borders as long as the soil is well watered or in a position where water will drain to, like the bottom of slopes. In late summer to fall you can expect snapdragon-like deep pink blooms. Attractive to butterflies.
