Carex oshimensis EverColor® 'Everillo'

Commonly known as Everillo Sedge, this grass has ribbon-like lime green blades that grow into a bright golden yellow of neat mounds and are perfect for the shaded areas of your garden. This sedge dramatically arches to the ground. Inconspicuous flowers appear in late spring above the grassy leaves. 

Plant in part sun to full shade as this grass will do well in shady woodland areas. Deer resistant and attractive to butterflies, this sedge is perfect for helping with erosion control. 

Wonderful when mass planted along paths or as a groundcover. Also a great option at the front of borders, in rock gardens and in containers when kept consistently moist. Combinations of Astilbe, Hosta, Chelone, Itea, Iris and Tiarella all make excellent companion plantings.
