Carex oshimensis EverColor® 'Everoro'

Commonly known as Everoro Sedge, this grass has ribbon-like yellow-striped green blades that grow in neat mounds and are perfect for the shaded areas of your garden. Similar to 'Evergold', this variety has increased vigor and an improved growing habirt. This sedge dramatically arches to the ground. Inconspicuous flowers appear in late spring above the grassy leaves. 

Plant in part shade to full shade as this grass will do well in shady woodland areas. Deer resistant and attractive to butterflies, this sedge is perfect for helping with erosion control. 

Wonderful when mass planted along paths or as a groundcover. Also a great option at the front of borders, in rock gardens and in containers when kept consistently moist. Combinations of Astilbe, Hosta, Chelone, Itea, Iris and Tiarella all make excellent companion plantings.
