Camellia japonica 'Governor Mouton'

'Governor Mouton' is a fabulous, early spring blooming shrub that is evergreen, and features red and white variegated peony-form to semi-double flowers upon deep green foliage. Camellia are extremely easy to grow and are great evergreen choices for areas that may not get full sun throughout the day.

Plant in partial sun to full shade, this heritage plant is cold hardy as it blooms in late winter to early spring. 

'Governor Mouton' will grow to about 10-15 feet tall and 8-10 feet wide. They are relatively low maintenance, however camellia often grow 'shoots' that will need trimmed off to keep their growth habit even.
