Caladiums are a family of large-leafed tropical plants that are native to southern portions of the world, such as South America and Asia. They typically feature striking leaves in red, pink, green and white. Leaves are heart shaped. Because of the leaf size and makeup, caladiums usually prefer shade, however many varieties can tolerate some sun. It's important to note the planting instructions on the tags to ensure they are receiving the correct amount of shade.

'Carolyn Wharton' is a beautiful caladium that has heart-shaped light chartreuse to white colored foliage with pretty pink to red speckles and blush dotted on the leaf. They thrive in the warmth and are best to have in areas that receive some shade. Works well as a thriller in any patio container or in any annual shade border.
