Buddleia davidii 'Crown Jewels'

Buddleia is a large family of flowering shrubs that are commonly known as 'Butterfly Bush.' They are typically a medium-large sized shrub that offer profuse, sweet flowers that blooms for most of the growing season. Their flowers are popular with hummingbirds, butterflies and other pollinators, however they are not native, not are they the perfect nectar source for these organisms. Butterfly bushes are most often grown for aesthetics as they do look beautiful for most of the year.

'Crown Jewels' is a classic butterfly bush, growing 3.5-4' tall and 4-5' wide, that features magenta-purple flower clusters and golden contrasting leaves. Flowers are a strong attractor for pollinators, mainly hummingbirds and butterflies. Plant in full sun in average soil. Space 3 feet or more away from other plants.
