This self-pollinating, thornless blackberry shurb is one of the earliest berry producers. Their semi-upright, spine-free growing habit can produce berries as early as June. Very large and good tasting berries can be harvested during a 3–5 week season. We do suggest using a trellis to support 'Natchez'

Plant bears fruit one year after planting. Blackberries thrive in full sun and well-drained, moist, slightly acidic, nutrient-rich soil. Water deeply when planting and 2-3 times weekly for 3 months while your Blackberry plant is establishing. Applying 3" of mulch around the blackberry's base is suggested to prep for the winter season.
