Philodendron melanochrysum

Commonly known as ‘Black to Gold Philodendron.'  Rare & hard to find variety.

Native to tropical regions of the world, philodendron melanochrysum typically grows outside on rainforest floors, vining up the sides of trees and rocks, going to hundreds of feet long with leaves over a foot wide! Indoors in your home, you can expect steady growth that matches the size of the pot in which it's planted in. Some  have grown up to 8 feet tall indoors! It's an excellent choice for hanging planters, wall planters, and areas that get very low light. It also can go several weeks without any water.

It is suggested to plant into a pot with a moss pole or trellis to allow vining.

Light requirements: Medium-low/indirect 
Water Requirements: Regular- water bi-weekly.
Soil Requirements: Light and well draining. Neutral PH. 
Humidity: High- mist on a regular basis.
Temperature Requirements: Thrives between 60 and 85 degrees.
