Bergenia DRAGONFLY™ 'Angel Kiss'

Sometimes known as Elephant's Ears or Pig Squeak, this perennial features plentiful soft, sweet, semi-double, white to light-pink blooms in early spring (April - May) atop shiny dark green leaves. The winter foliage presents itself in a darker tone closer to red-wine. This is a great contrast for the blooms that emerge white and then gradually take on a pink tone as they age.

Plant in full to part shade. For best foliage color, partial shade is recommended. Soil should remain moist and not dry out. Once established, they can tolerate slightly drier soil, but prefer it to be consistently moist. Rabbit and deer resistant, 'Angel Kiss' is also able to withstand heavy shade. 

A great choice for mass plantings of shady areas. Use as a groundcover, for edging walkways and in containers. Plant with Hellebores, Hosta, Astilbe, Heuchera, Mysosotis and Actaea as companions.
