Belamcanda x. 'Hello Yellow'

Commonly known as Blackberry Lily, this perennial is perfect for the sunnier areas of your garden to give that woodland look. Works well in borders or planters. In late summer to fall you can expect bright yellow blooms. Sword-like foliage gives it a similar look to an Iris. Tan, pear-shaped pods arrive in fall and open to show black seeds that resemble blackberries (hence the common name). 

Plant in full sun with average, well-drained soil. Attractive to butterflies in the summer and seed pods are nice when used in dried floral arrangements. Gaillardia, Echinacea, Rudbeckia, Monarda and Veronica all make excellent companions in the garden bed.
