Aubrieta x. 'Rock on Purple'

Commonly named Rock Cress, Aubrieta is a popular spring-flowering rock garden perennial. It forms a low carpet of semi-evergreen leaves that are literally smothered by fragrant flowers for several weeks. This selection has single medium purple flowers. Expect blooms from spring to early summer.

Plant in full sun to part sun with well drained soil. A fun cut flower, this spring beauty is deer resistant and attractive to pollinators. To encourage a full, mounding habit, trim plants lightly after blooming. 

Excellent in the rock garden, cascading over walls, for edging or in containers. Plays well in the garden with Iberis, Euphorbia, Bergenia and Creeping Phlox.
