Astilbe is a family of flowering, shade-loving perennials that offer foamy flower plumes in a variety of colors, usually in the pink, purple, red and white colors. Astilbe blooms from May-July and offered large stalks of small flower clusters.

'Deutschland' is a variety that offers a thick, dense, creamy white flower stalk atop deep green foliage. Plant in part shade to full shade in early spring for a fabulous show in the summer.
