Aster macrophyllus or Eurybia macrophylla

Commonly known as Bigleaf Aster, this upright, bushy perennial features large 4-8" wide heart-shaped leaves. Clusters of starry blooms in shades of white or violet arrive from mid-summer to mid-fall. 

Plant in part sun to full shade as this aster can tolerate more shade than most. Blooms are daisy-like and very attractive to pollinators. An excellent choice for a ground cover in shady areas, native and woodland gardens.
