Apples are crisp and firm- well suited for baking, apple butter, canning and more. Flavor improves when kept in the refrigerator.  This tree arrives fully mature, several years old, and will produce fruit after 1-2 years. Fruit typically ripens in October.

Plant this variety in a full-sun area in moist, rich, well draining soil. Will perform best when planted on a slight hill. It's important to space this tree at least 15' from other varieties for optimal pollination. Some pruning may be required after established. Water well once planted.
